Statement of Work – Work that I do…

Overview

As a dedicated advocate and facilitator, my work involves visiting various educational institutions, including primary schools, secondary schools, colleges, and training centers. My primary goal is to raise awareness and implement programs that address critical issues affecting young people. These programs focus on life skills, the dangers of drug and substance abuse, early teenage pregnancies, and providing psychological support to teenage mothers and survivors of sexual abuse.

Objectives

Psychosocial Support

I provide essential psychosocial support to teenage mothers and survivors of child sexual abuse. This includes counselling services, support groups, and resources that empower these individuals to navigate their challenges and build resilience.

Educational Support

I offer educational assistance to teenage mothers and their children. This support encompasses tutoring, mentorship, and access to educational resources that enable them to continue their education and improve their life prospects.

Awareness Raising

I conduct awareness campaigns on the dangers of drug and substance abuse as well as the implications of teenage pregnancies. Through workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions, I engage students in meaningful discussions that promote informed decision-making.

Economic Strengthening

I facilitate economic strengthening initiatives for households with teenage mothers and other vulnerable children. These programs include skills training, financial literacy workshops, and access to micro finance opportunities aimed at enhancing their economic independence.

Impact

Through these tailored programs, I have successfully reached numerous young people, providing them with the tools they need to overcome challenges and thrive. By fostering an environment of understanding and support, I aim to empower the next generation to make informed choices and build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
